Ummm...for the sake of fair representation of all unique mixed breeds involving pugs, I think that the creator of this web-site needs to find and post a picture of a "Bug", being a Pug and Boston Terrier mix.

Sincerely,
Someone who is very interested in these two breeds :)

I have a Chug and she is the love of my life. She has a beautiful face (Chihuahua) and the sweetest nature of a Pug. She LOVES children almost to exclusion. She is my service dog and a therapy pet. She is 9 and in the hospital at the moment with ITP disease. I have been crying for 2 days. If I happen lose her soon, I will for sure seek out another one in the future. It is comforting to see this site while I wait for her to come home. I'll try to create a quick website to post pictures.

I have a Chug, my family adores him, my sister wants one, anyone know where I can get one for her?

Posted by: Chugwanted at October 8, 2005 3:49 PM

We have a wonderful Chug that we love. But he was sold to a friend of ours for $500 under the pretense of being a pure chihuahua from a pet store. Is that legal or ethical?

Posted by: Jewel Skonnard at November 3, 2005 10:33 AM

Hi Anyone know where I can get a CHUG? I live in Manitoba, Canada.

Posted by: May at April 5, 2006 1:04 AM

I have an 18 month old female Chug, and she is a GREAT dog. She is a rescue, and I got her from a lady whose family member could not keep her. She is the BEST dog, just wonderfully sweet and SMART!

Posted by: Angel at April 8, 2006 9:04 PM

I have chugs and they are the best pets in the world. It seems like right now everybody wants one. Yay chugs!

Posted by: jj at April 12, 2006 9:53 AM

We have a Chug!! He is the sweetest dog in the world. He craves to be loved & to give love 24/7. Though small and cute, he tends to bark at dogs bigger than him. He behaves wonderfully around children and adults (strangers too!).

Posted by: Claudia & David at April 12, 2006 7:08 PM

I have a Chug, her name is Noel. I got her for Christmas two years ago. That happens to be my favorite Christmas song to. She is all black with a white spot on her chest. She has the body of the pug and the nose of the pug and the breathing problems. Her face is more like the Chihuahua and the eyes of a pug, and the legs of of Chihuahua. She is very very very hyper active. My little brother says she has A.D.D (Active Dog Disorder). She is my baby girl and I wouldn't change a thing about her. Her best friend is a Huge Hound Dog and I mean Huge (I dont know what he has in him). Her favorite spot is on a pickup truck or in the back of it. She is a Scary dog when to storms.

"Ummm...for the sake of fair representation of all unique mixed breeds involving pugs, I think that the creator of this web-site needs to find and post a picture of a "Bug", being a Pug and Boston Terrier mix"

I have a bugg (or pugston). He's a little over 2 years old right now. He's all black with white on his chest and is the sweetest most lovable dog you ever met. He's a major "cuddle bug" and won't sleep happily unless he's under the covers curled up right against me or my wife.

I found a site dealing with pug mixes and here's the address:

http://am-pugs.com/

I have a pure bred boston terrier female and a male puggle. After hard effort of keeping the two apart, my puggle hooked with my boston. She is expected to give birth the 2nd week of June. I have seen what a Bug looks like but does anyone know what a Buggle looks like? If anyone has pictures of what these puppies may look like, could someone put them on this site so I can get an idea of what they will look like. I am very curious. I am pretty sure they will look similar to the Bug. Thank you

Last May we went to a pet store and feel in love with this little thing of a dog. He is a chug. one of the cutest thing you have ever seen.
In Nov of 05 we had a accident with our Zeus. He went to jump on the couch and feel backwards and feel on his elbow. It shattered. the elbow it self and the Y bone.Way broken in 2 places. he is okay now but has plates and screws in his leg. we are thankful that we could save his leg. But a warning to anyone with a chug. Most of them do have legs of the chihuahua. They are like chicken legs. So please be careful.I do have a great picture of him if anyone wants to see.
TAKE CARE.

I have 3 long haired chihuahuas and 1 chug. The chug is the best dog I ever met. I love my Chi's but they are not as sweet as this Chug. The best disposition and cutest girl in the world. I don't know how I got so lucky because I wasn't after a designer dog, just another pet.

I have a chug as well his name is ELVIS he was so tiny when I got him he is a little over 3 pounds at 12 weeks now. He is brindle in color I am wanting to get another one so he has a buddy to play with he gets to see one of his brothers every now and then and they just go wild. He thinks he is a big dog. we wouldn't trade him for the world.

If your looking for a chug, go to petfinder.org. thats where I found mine. He was rescued from an Amish puppy mill.

I adopted a male 9 month old Chug from someone who was moving across the country. Max is the sweetest, most lovable little man. He has a wonderful personality, loves to play and is a real joy to own. These two breeds are a wonderful mix!!

Posted by: Linda at May 29, 2007 3:22 PM

I adopted a little dog about a year ago from a local shelter and wasn't sure what she was until I saw your picture. My vet also confirmed that she is a chug. She is the most loving little thing I've ever had and won't let me out of her site. Thank you for sharing your pictures.

Posted by: Nancy at June 13, 2007 12:57 PM

My Chug's name is Penny. I adopted her from the SPCA when she was 9 months. She is 3 1/2 now. The best most mild mannered dog ever. She is so sweeet and full of love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Kelley at June 29, 2007 8:33 PM

My chug's name in biscuit, is a purebreed chug resulting from a full breed pub and a mini chihuhua. He is now one year old and about 16 pounds. He is a little ball of energy very loving to everyone in the household, plays very well with other breeds. For there size they are very territorial and he suffers from separation anxiety issues.

Posted by: petro at August 16, 2007 1:29 AM

I have the cutest little all black chug, with just a little white superman patch on her chest. :-) She's almost 9 months old. We named her Martini, but we call her Tini. Would you like to see her?

Posted by: Allison at August 29, 2007 10:26 AM

I just figured out my Chi was actually a Chug and what a relief it was! I kept thinking he was a little big and burly for a Chi, but I love my pup so I didn't worry to much about it. I happened to see a pug walking along in front of us on the sidewalk and thought, "Oh my gosh, his body is exactly like my dog's body"...mystery solved. Punky's face is more Chi like, ears stand up, and he's got a powerful stocky body and the sweetest temperment, beautiful cream and white makings, loving and loyal and warms quickly to visitors in our home. Perfect pup :)

Hey, I just got a chug yesterday from my Aunt. She was in a hurry because her chihuahua (who is usual very sweet) got jealous of the tiny chug so she dropped her off to me since she knew I love animals. Even though I've only had my chug for a day and a half I could see that she is a real sweetie. She's just about 6-8 weeks old and I really am attached to her already! She's quiet and reserved but sometimes after a good rest she's really playful, since she's really young she's still curious about everything and likes to nibble alot on things. Although, from most sites I've went to they've said that chugs are unpredicatable because you never know what traits she/he has inherited from either parent. I'm wondering how big my chug will get...Can anyone give me a hint?

I lost my wonderful male Shetland Sheepdog to sudden heart disease. I was deep in grief for my best friend, when my daughter brought to me a wonderful, very loving little Rescue "Chug" from the horrible hurricane, Katrina. She desperately needed a home, and I a new friend. I shall continue to grieve for my lost friend, but will also love my darling "Chug" forever.
Rescue "babies" are in desperate need of good homes. Please help them.
