Pug's Plea to Public Helps Elect Politician
Milo, a pug belonging to mayoral candidate Mark Boughton, helped his owner acheive reelection by writting a letter to dog constituents. Milo's letter, which was sent to all owners of licensed dogs, implored dogs to have their owners vote for Boughton. The tactic helped secure Boughton's reelection as mayor of Danbury Connecticut. Sadly, a few months after the November election, Milo passed away due to pancreatitis. Happily, Milo serves as proof that having your dog write (or respond to) letters is a really cool idea.
